Our Story

2016: Humble Beginnings — Wild Oak Boutique began with a simple goal: offer women stylish, feel-good fashion with heart. Founded by Karly Smallfield in her parents’ basement, it started as a side hustle at local vendor fairs.

2020: The Heartbeat of the Brand — Karly went full-time, and alongside her husband Tarin, moved operations into the basement of their first home. As the community grew, they hired their first employees to keep up with the hustle.

2021 – 2023: Rapid Growth — We moved into our first 6,000 sq. ft. warehouse in 2021. By 2023, we added a second warehouse and broke ground on a massive 24,000 sq. ft. facility to bring everything under one roof.

2024: Record-Breaking Expansion — We moved into our new headquarters in July. By late 2024, we completed a 10,000 sq. ft. expansion, bringing our total warehouse space to 34,000 square feet to better serve you.

2025: Leading the Way — After being named the #1 fastest-growing company in South Dakota in 2024, we are honored to have made the INC. 5000 list again in 2025!
